Sarah Lim has worked in human services for over twenty years, across the government and not-for-profit sectors, specialising in institutional safeguarding and governance.
With a legal background underpinning vast social and legal policy analysis and development experience, Sarah’s experience in institutional child safety, youth justice, corrections, women’s policy, domestic and family violence and not-for-profit governance and operations is grounded in her passion for social justice.
Her commitment to justice and advocacy for the needs of vulnerable people is evidenced in her volunteer roles in her local community and on not-for-profit Boards. Sarah is highly organised and able to “make things happen”. She is a skilled Company Secretary and brings expertise in governance, project management, stakeholder engagement and undertaking strategic projects. She loves working as part of a team to deliver clear outcomes to benefit the community and community organisations. With a focus on working in partnership to attain the best results, she is quickly able to pinpoint the issues to be tackled and engage the right people at the right time to get the buy-in needed for success.
Sarah is committed to working collaboratively and in partnership with her clients, building relationships, drawing on internal expertise and with deep regard and respect to the work and team members who are involved. She brings deep experience in stakeholder engagement in a range of complex areas, and has knowledge of the stakeholder landscape in this specific context, and existing connections to stakeholders within this sector.
